As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment at a major logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. By maintaining a visible presence, you help to deter security-related incidents and provide reassurance to staff and visitors. You will also be expected to deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with team members, and respond promptly to any incidents or requests for assistance. Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed06:00 AM - 10:00 AMSun06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client site requirements.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs and maintain a secure environment for all occupants.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
