Job Title: Maintenance Electrician Job Description

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure continuous improvement of safety, quality, and productivity. Inspect, maintain, and repair low/medium voltage motor control systems for plant equipment. Conduct motor drive system preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on Siemens and Rockwell families of drive systems. Troubleshoot equipment using PLC interface for diagnostics. Assist in the installation, start-up, and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring compliance with minimum Safety & Operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance for plant equipment.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair low/medium voltage motor control systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshooting for Siemens and Rockwell drive systems.
• Use PLC interface for equipment diagnostics.
• Assist with installation, start-up, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Ensure all operations and utilities equipment meet Safety & Operational requirements.

Essential Skills

• Ability to troubleshoot and read ladder logic in PLC systems.
• Understanding of PLC inputs/outputs, motor control, and ladder logic.
• Proficiency in using Allen Bradley controls.

Pay and Benefits

• The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $78000.00/yr.
• 9.58% shift differential once they move onto swing shift (Approximately an extra 3/hr)
• Only non-union smelter facility in the U.S
• 401K matches 6%. Benefits start on Day 1 (Full medical, dental and vision coverage – very competitive benefits and multiple options. You can get full copy during interview)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $78000.00/yr.

- 9.58% shift differential once they move onto swing shift (Approximately an extra 3/hr)
- They can test every 6 months to test into higher tech level and get pay increase
- Only non-union smelter facility in the U.S
- 401K matches 6%. Benefits start on Day 1 (Full medical, dental and vision coverage – very competitive benefits and multiple options. You can get full copy during interview)
- $300 tool stipend each year
- All uniforms and PPE are provide by company, including prescription safety glasses
- Free clinic onsite for check ups or any issues that happen during the day
- Quarterly bonus up to 10% of what they have made in total that quarter. This is based on company profitability. They currently are averaging 4-6% per quarter
o Quarter bonus is tied to attendance.
- HUGE on promoting from within. They have a ton of supervisors/managers who have been there for 30-40 years and nearing retirement. This is agreat opportunity for people coming in to train and develop themselves for those roles
- If you work 6 days in a row, on your 6th day you are paid x1.75. If you work 7 days in a row, your 7th day is double pay

- Food trucks onsite every day
- Vacation: Start out immediately at 80 hours. 3 years, 152 hours, 5 years - 175 hours, 10 years - 192 hours, 15 years - 208 hour
