Prime Staffing is seeking a local contract nurse RN Director of Nursing for a local contract nursing job in New York, New York.

Job Description & Requirements

Health System Director of Nursing Education to lead the planning, development, and evaluation of nursing education programs across the system (11 facilities)

• Must hold a DNP or PhD in Nursing Education (Ed.D will be considered)
• Current RN licensure & certification in nursing leadership
• Proven leadership/supervisory experience
• Ideal Candidate is a nursing education leader with strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills who can align education with organizational goals and clinical excellence.
• Hybrid schedule: 2 days in person (NYC corporate building) and 3 days remote

 

Role Highlights:

• Develop & execute system-wide education strategy (orientation, onboarding, competencies, professional development)
• Advise leadership on workforce development needs
• Ensure equitable access to resources across facilities
• Drive specialty certification, advanced practice, and innovative teaching methods (simulation, e-learning, VR)

• Measure impact of education programs on outcomes & engagement

   

Compensation: Negotiable based on experience
