Washington Center is now hiring an energetic & passionate full-time Activities Aide CNA to work in our skilled nursing facility in Argyle, NY. 

Now offering a $7,500 sign-on bonus for a limited time!!

DUTIES:

\n
• Implement activity programs for residents; focus on individual interests.
\n
• Work directly with residents on units, without direct supervision.
\n
• Organize and obtain supplies and equipment as requested.
\n
• Assist recreation specialists and set up program areas as needed.
\n
• Keep daily attendance and document residents’ participation in activities.
\n
• Assist residents in programming the location and return residents to the appropriate units.
\n
• Be familiar with established emergency procedures.
\n

REQUIREMENTS:

• \n
  \n
  • Must have a valid NY CNA license
  \n
  • Experience with activities in a healthcare setting or college work in recreation therapy
  \n
  • Previous experience with the geriatric population preferred
  \n
  • Strong computer skills necessary 
  \n
  • Positive attitude and energy is a must!!
  \n
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member
  \n
  • Strong organizational and planning skills; ability to multitask
  \n
